Kishin. What was thought to be the bane of human existence. They only craved to consume souls and kill others. They are the exact opposite of Shibusen. The Protectors of the world to some extent. After countless lifetimes, Shibusen managed to overpower the Kishin and kill their leader, Asura. After Asura's death, the Kishin vanished into nothingness. The World was at peace for the first time in a long time. Or was it?

Shinigami-Sama saw no need to continue the stand as the headmaster of DWMA, so he passed it onto someone trust. Someone possibly more mysterious than he. The new headmaster assigned new Death Scythes and 3 Star Meisters to the world, letting the older one finally rest.

Sure enough, the world cannot live in peace for very long, even after such a struggle. They managed to live in peace for 26 years. The Corrupted, a group even stronger than the Kishin, began to appear. Their central focus didn't seem to be purely killing and mass murder.No. They seemed smarter than Kishin, stronger. No one knows how, maybe it was the shear number of them and the vast difference between the encountered Corrupted. DWMA blamed the Witches for the Corrupted attack. Saying that they were the only ones who could create such an abomination. The Witches did nothing of the sort though. This created a war triangle. DWMA against Witches and Corrupted, Witches against DWMA and Corrupted, and Corrupted against DWMA and Witches.

This is where your story picks up. Be it you join the Corrupted or become a part of the DWMA. This is your story.
